Tires are chopped, showing inner edge wear. front brake pads are 10mm thick. The rear are 6mm. Tire tread depth is 10/32 on all four tires. Noticed vibration at idle. P2098 Position catalyst fuel trim system bank 2. P0345 Camshaft position sensor / bank 2. Cleared codes and test drove. The vehicle stalled when turning left. Difficult to restart.
- On multiple test drives and idle times, the codes have not returned and the vehicle has not stalled. The P2098 is intermittent. It may return and require additional diagnostics.

Mileage83,359Service Date6/28/2024Services Performed- Verified engine is low on power. Codes: P0299 Turbocharger "A" underboost. P0316 Misfire detected on start-up. P0365 Cam sensor "B" circuit. P0369 Cam sensor "B" circuit intermittent. Cleared DTC's and test drove vehicle. P0365 and P0369 set as current codes. The other codes have not come back so far. Lab scope tested both cam sensors. Sensor "B" loses signal after a few minutes. Replaced cam sensor "B". Cleared codes. Test drove vehicle–codes returned. Retested cam sensor wiring. Found that the cam sensor wire terminals failed the drag test. Re-tensioned the pins. Codes still present. Wiggle tested the wiring and found the cam sensor signal positive wire had rubbed through on the vacuum pump. Repaired the wiring. Installed the original cam sensor. Verified fix. Repair complete.

2008 Chevrolet Silverado

The rear brakes have good pad life but need to be cleaned and adjusted. The sway bar links are missing bushings. The u-joint at the rear axle is squeaking. Recommend replacing both. The front brakes are squeaking at times but have good pad life. Rotors maybe slightly gazed but not warped. Tire tread depth- 4/32 front, rear 6/32. Recommend 4 tires and alignment. Brake pad thickness- 10mm front, 5mm rear. Check engine light is on prior to service. The TPMS light is flashing. All 4 sensors need replaced.

The engine air filter is okay at this time. No cabin air filter. Set tire pressure to 35psi. Tire tread depth is 5/32 front and rear. The tires are weathered & cracked. Date code on the tires is from 2014. Brake pads are 5mm thick on the front & 10mm thick on the rear.

Front pads are 6mm thick. The rear are 5mm thick. The drivers lower ball joint is noisy over bumps & 1/8 vertical play. The passenger lower has slight play. Customer decline repairs at this time.
