2017 Chevrolet Traverse

Found coolant recovery cap was not sealing properly and causing a coolant leak. Coolant test to -50F degrees. On final test drive, inspector noticed that the front brakes are warped when stopping from highway speeds. Front pads are 6mm thick, rear are 7mm thickness.

2012 Acura TSX
Mileage179,411Service Date11/12/2024Services Performed- P0300 cylinder #3 misfire. The throttle body bore is carboned. Th mass air flow sensor element is dirty. Recommend cleaning both. Verified a faulty ignition coil and the spark plugs are worn. Cylinder #1 coil has been replaced at some point, not sure of the age? Would recommend replacing all four spark plugs and ignition coils. Due to the misfire condition, there is the possibility of catalyst damage. The serpentine belt is dry and cracking. The front brakes are 4mm thick. The rear brakes are 4mm on the right rear & 5mm on the left rear. The front lower control arm bushings are loose & worn. Recommend replacing both w/ alignment.

2010 Dodge Grand Caravan
Mileage227,856Service Date10/24/2024Services Performed- Low tire light & check engine light on. two quarts low on oil prior to service. The engine cranks slowly. Two gallons low on coolant. Severe radiator leak. Cylinder #1 & #3 was misfiring at first. When backing the vehicle out, cylinder #3 was misfiring. unable to determine if combustion gas leak is present. It is very possible that the cylinder heads and/or head gaskets are compromised. Cylinder #3- 50psi of compression (should be 125+). Cylinder #3 80% leakage during leak down test. Suspect partially burnt valve. The spark plugs are very worn- 0.100 gap.

2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse
Mileage178,327Service Date10/23/2024Services Performed- P0340 Camshaft position sensor. The engine sounds like it has low compression when cranking. REmoved the upper timing cover and found that the camshaft sprocket does not turn when cranking the engine. Need to remove the remaining timing covers for inspection. Suspect failed timing belt. Possible valve damage since the engine was when this happened. If the timing belt has failed, recommend replacing the timing belt and the performing a cylinder leak down test to see if the valves are bent. The starter sounds loud and course. Recommend inspecting for valve damage before addressing this concerns.
- Engine air filter box broken prior to service. Exhaust leak on start up. Goes away after engine is warm. The starter is still loud and coarse. The exhaust manifold shield is rattling. Post repair test drive- Possible wheel bearing noise from the right front. The drivers window regulator does not always work.
